FRAMEWORKS CTR provides coordinated therapies and resources designed to promote skill development and support for children, youth, and adults with social, emotional, and developmental disabilities; as well as, the parents, caregivers, siblings, and agencies who support them. We serve families in home and community settings throughout the greater Puget Sound region including: King, Snohomish, Pierce, Kitsap, and Mason counties.

Our work with families is aimed at connecting perspectives and aligning goals amongst team members and providers. This COORDINATED approach creates the foundation for focused, sustainable interventions across home and community environments.

Our THERAPIES include behavior support, counseling, educational consulting, and skills/support groups. Services are highly individualized and creatively designed to help individuals and families experience social and emotional well-being.

We strive to empower clients as they gain access to important RESOURCES, information, tools, and supports including coaching, consultation, and training.

WHO WE SERVE:

We work with individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health conditions across the lifespan- early childhood through adulthood. Our clients often exhibit a range of challenging behaviors, sensory and emotion regulation concerns, difficulties with functional communication, and challenges with navigating social interactions. These difficulties often impact relationships with others and access to community based experiences. Some other needs or challenges experienced by clients may include difficulties with:

  • Attention
  • Organizational skills
  • Anxiety
  • Rigid thinking
  • Perspective taking
  • Peer relationships
  • Impulsivity
  • Mood swings or depression
  • Truancy/school refusal

We partner with families and caregivers to provide support with emotional stressors associated with caring for an individual with a disability and with implementation of behavioral strategies. Other areas for family members or caregivers that may be addressed through coaching, consultation, and/or counseling include:

  • Sibling/family member support
  • Stress management
  • Coping strategies
  • Self-care
